FDAP

Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals

FDAP is the professional body for the substance use field. It`s aims are to work with the sector to improve standards of practice. It is a registered charity.

It aims to keep practitioners up to date with information about the substance misuse field and publishes Drink and Drugs News magazine.

It sets professional standards and has a Code of Practice and disciplinary procedures which are available on its website; for more information please see the link at the bottom of the page.

FDAP offers a range of training and qualifications. FDAP organises events and regular meetings of workforce development leads to discuss factors affecting the workforce in the substance misuse field.
