Welcome to the Substance Misuse Workforce Development Partnership website.

The website is aimed at current practitioners, managers, volunteers and people who are interested in finding work in the Substance Misuse field.

The Partnership currently covers BANES, Bristol and Gloucestershire. You will find information about a whole host of topics that relate to working in the Substance Misuse field.

This includes information on

• Careers and development – including a recruitment database and up to date information on relevant courses and Continual Professional Development (CPD) opportunities. Career pathways for people who are interested in entering the field.

• Resources – Information on National Occupational Standards, funding, current workforce legislation, workforce audits and training needs analysis.

• Training – Information on training available.

• Children and Young People – Information on National Occupational Standards and training. Career pathways for people who are interested in entering the field.

• Volunteers – Information on organisations that use volunteers, good practice and links to relevant websites.
